With the aim to make the students excel in the field of Engineering and Technology, Jeppiaar Engineering College was started in the year 2001, established under the dynamic leadership of our chairman Dr. Jeppiaar M.A., B.L., PhD. The college functions under the auspices of the Jeppiaar Educational Trust. The college provides education at higher levels relating to the current trends in technological and the needs of the society. It promotes research which provides a link between academics and the industry. Each department has highly qualified, experienced and dedicated staff members who are ready to cater the needs of the student community. The college has well equipped laboratories which serve as research centre for both the students and staff and they are also updated periodically with latest equipments. The college is accredited by National Board of Accreditation and certified by ISO 9O01:2000.
